Well, it was great to get home and finally see Marcie and Ben again. How much older Ben seems than when I left! Part of that is the excellent haircut that Marcie gave Ben while I was gone (well, started to give anyway). But Ben seems more mature and smarter than he was last week. Maybe that’s crazy to think that. But he definitely seems to be responding more to our commands. I got down on the floor and asked Ben to come over and give me a hug, and he did! I’m looking forward to the fun things that he and I can do together over the rest of the summer weeks.
